Quick Installation Instructions
Important installation instructions for optimal performance to ensure your Hydro X Wiper Blades perform at their best, please follow these steps carefully. Skipping or altering the process may hinder the effectiveness of the hydrophobic coating.

A Few Things to Check First
Most wipers rely on old rubber technology that cracks and fades fast in the Australian sun. HydroX silicone blades use advanced hydrophobic technology to repel water on contact, delivering clearer, quieter performance from day one.
Installation Instructions
Important installation instructions for optimal performance to ensure your Hydro X Wiper Blades perform at their best, please follow these steps carefully. Skipping or altering the process may hinder the effectiveness of the hydrophobic coating.
Start by lifting your factory wipers off the windscreen.
Use a heavy-duty window cleaner and a clean microfiber cloth to thoroughly clean your windscreen, removing all dirt and residue.
After cleaning, remove the original wipers from the arms.
Attach the new Hydro X Wipers to the wiper arms. Be sure to remove the protective plastic from the silicone blades before placing the arms back down on the windscreen.
Turn on the wipers without using any water or washer fluid. Set them to a slow speed and let them wipe the windscreen dry for 3-5 minutes. This step is crucial—using water during this process will prevent the coating from adhering properly.
Once the initial dry wipe is complete, your wipers are ready for normal use. The hydrophobic coating is now applied and will be replenished with each use.
Important: Activate Your Hydrophobic Coating
This step is unique to HydroX and is critical to getting the best performance from your blades. After fitting, run your wipers on a dry windscreen for 10 to 15 seconds. This activates the silicone coating, which then bonds to your glass and starts repelling water with every wipe. Skip this step and you won't get the full HydroX experience
